[2024-12-3] A South Korean video game publisher ThumbAge Co., Ltd. announced that its subsidiary, Champion Studio, has updated the mobile sports game ‘Boxing Star’ with a festive Christmas theme and new costumes.
The latest update for Boxing Star brings a touch of holiday cheer with Christmas-themed NPC effects, loading screens, and other festive details. Players who log in by December 25 will receive the exclusive ‘Christmas Hat’ costume. Additionally, a special Christmas coupon will be shared through the official community channels.
This update also adds the League Promotion Match system. Players in certain leagues can access this feature after reaching the required points. A successful Promotion Match resets Star Points to the starting level of the promoted league, while a loss results in a deduction of points. Players will need to achieve additional victories in League Mode to retry the Promotion Match.
Furthermore, three new Bio Gears have been introduced, each capable of activating a Barrier effect upon landing a successful Bio Combo.
