8 August, 2024 - Developer Redboon studio without a publisher or investors has released Knock on the coffin lid.
“Knock on the Coffin Lid” is a deckbuilding roguelike card battler with a deep narrative in the dark fantasy setting reminiscent of medieval Europe.
Despite the card game genre, “Knock on the Coffin Lid” offers complex storylines that are influenced by player choices, like in the best RPG games.
“Knock on the Coffin Lid” immerses the player in a medieval atmosphere of dark fantasy. Where they will have to investigate their own death, find ways to break free from a time loop, choose a hero who will ascend to the throne and rule the Northern gate! Inviting players to collect powerful artifacts, build invincible decks, and battle faction leaders who try to challenge their power
During the development process, the game received many awards and nominations for Indie cup'20 Critics' Choice Award, Indie cup'21, Indie Blast 2021 Best Gameplay, and Best PC Game Xsolla, Finalists Indie Award for GDWC 2023, Devgamm Vilnius 2024 nominations for best art and anticipation.

Redboon is an indie studio with the debut game “Knock on the Coffin Lid”. Since the launch of the project in 2019, the team has experienced a breakdown and lost employees whose skills the project, at that time, needed the most. But we did not disappear, like many who could not bring their first project to release. Now the team consists of 5 people. We work for the idea and faith in the project. The game does not have a publisher or investor, but we have perseverance, hard work and faith in team success.
