Thief Simulator VR: Greenview Street was released on July 7. 2022 and since its premiere it occupies the 50 Top Selling games list of Meta Quest platform, with over 2100 reviews and 85% positive score and over 250 000 copies sold.

Producing a bestseller - and Thief Simulator can be considered as such - is one thing. Bringing it from a flat screen game to a VR device that runs on far more limited hardware resources is another matter entirely. The 3R Games team undertook this technological challenge by porting the popular PC title to the Quest 2 goggles and delivered a game that today might be considered as one of the VR classics.

The game's creators plan to repeat the success of the Quest version on PlayStation VR2. The title debuts on the platform on May 9, 2024. PSVR2 version was developed in cooperation with Take IT Studio!, known especially for bringing Car Mechanic Simulator to Playstation VR or their own game titles such as Electrician Simulator (available on PS 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Steam). PlayStation VR2 version of Thief offers 12 story missions and 35 side missions on Greenview Street neighborhood. Due to the more powerful hardware the players will experience enhanced graphics, dynamic shadows and a richer environment both in terms of foliage and estate areas.

In Thief Simulator VR: Greenview Street player becomes a stealthy, underground contractor in the sandbox open-world city. Using a wide range of tools (e.g. lockpick, crowbar, hacking device, safe cracker, etc.) gadgets and cars, players explore different paths to avoid detection and evade law enforcement, as they plan and execute their heists. The game is priced at $24.99.
