AUSTIN, Texas, October 13, 2004 The Game Initiative announced today that the third annual Austin Game Conference (AGC) will take place Thursday and Friday, October 27-28, 2005 in Austin, Texas. Austin Game Conference is the definitive conference for networked game development, including massively multiplayer online games, mobile and wireless games and devices, and online PC and console games. The Mobile Game Conference, the premiere event for mobile game developers, takes place concurrently with AGC.
Over 1,400 people from around the world participated in the 2004 Austin Game Conference, up from 850 people at the first AGC in 2003. The Austin Game Conference draws from an international audience with attendees, speakers and exhibitors from as far away as China, Korea, France, UK, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia.
At AGC 2004 attendees heard from industry veterans and luminaries in a program offering more than 125 speakers in 53 sessions and 7 tracks. Game Conference tapes, CDs and MP3s are now available.
