A new indie game festival celebrating award-winning titles comes to Steam!

Warsaw, Poland - July 10th, 2024 — The Independent Games Festival has been the launching point for some of the industry's biggest indie games - including hits like Outer Wilds, Inscryption, and even Minecraft. Now, many of the incredible IGF Awards finalists and winners are being honored at the first-ever IGF Celebration Days Steam event, featuring 80+ iconic indie games.


From July 11 through July 20, 2024, dozens of IGF-featured games and studios will be brought together in one massive event on Steam, with discounts on most of the games featured.


IGF Celebration Days is a Steam event organized by Crunching Koalas, the publisher of Once Upon a Jester (2024 Best Student Award winner), in collaboration with the Game Developers Conference and dozens of indie studios.


The July 11 Steam launch will feature livestreams from several indie developers, as well as a special message from IGF chairperson Shawn Pierre.

You can expect to find many well-known indie games featured at the Independent Games Festival over the years, including: Celeste (2018), The Stanley Parable (2014), Ladykiller in a Bind (2017), Braid (2006),  A Short Hike (2020), Outer Wilds (2015), Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes (2016), and many more. Looking for something new? Several IGF-featured studios have included newer releases in the event, showcasing what they've been up to since the awards show.
