ACTION ROGUELITE GAME STAND-ALONE DEMO NOW AVAILABLE ON STEAM

LONDON (Sept. 24, 2024) – Developer LIFUEL today announced that the demo for their debut title, STAND-ALONE, is now live on Steam. This pixel-art side-scrolling action roguelite game delivers a rich and exhilarating gameplay experience through smooth pixel animations and a dynamic skill combo system.

STAND-ALONE's new demo features one chapter where players can choose different nodes to explore a variety of randomly generated rooms. Along the way, they’ll earn rewards such as currency, chips and skills, all while unlocking new weapons. Players can even enhance their abilities by modifying their skills with various active or passive effects, allowing them to craft a personalized playstyle.

Have you ever wondered if those well-known stories are true and completely being told? There might be a version that is completely different from what you know...  

The story of STAND-ALONE begins with a "shepherd," a robot known as a deceiver.  

In the wake of Dr. Wolf's devious plot, the sheep were massacred. The guardian robot, responsible for protecting the sheep, lost its memory data and was abandoned in a desolate corner. By chance, the guardian robot transformed into a robo-sheep and must learn to face challenges alone and survive.

Will this lone robo-sheep, forced into a brutal struggle for survival against the wolves, be able to shoulder the world's hidden truths?

Combat and roguelike challenges:

Engage your adversaries in kinetic combat, guided by robust and responsive controls. Confront diverse levels and ever-changing enemy formations that relentlessly test your abilities. However, stay vigilant, for in the face of defeat, you risk surrendering all your hard-earned skills and gear to the void.

Combo building and infinite possibility:

In STAND-ALONE, you can download new skills from enemies' systems after defeating them. Instead of simply getting and using new skills, modify and transform them, creating new gameplay opportunities with each run. Modify your skills to overpower all the wolves and establish the robo-sheep as the new apex predator.
