We have an incredible announcement today, as Aoca Game Lab, the company behind the acclaimed 3D adventure game ÁRIDA: Backland's Awakening, will be releasing its version for Switch and Xbox on November 22!
After a warm reception in the PC and Mobile versions, winning hearts inside and outside Brazil, ÁRIDA will bring what's special about the Brazilian backlands world to console players.

A Aoca Game Lab is a game company from Bahia, Brazil, founded in 2016. They released the first version of ÁRIDA for PCs in 2019, receiving positive responses from both the public and critics. In June of this year, they made the Android version available. Now, they are launching the version for iPhones and iPads.
The narrative of ÁRIDA is inspired by historical events, such as the formation of the iconic settlement of Canudos. The game has received awards in national and international events and is also licensed for educational books that bring the game into classrooms across Brazil.
The upcoming challenges for Aoca consist of releasing versions of ÁRIDA 1 for PS5 and ÁRIDA 2: Rise of the Brave, scheduled for 2025.
