$132,000 raised for Malala Fund during 'Frost Fatales 2022' speedrunning event.

Games Done Quick's all-women speedrunning winter event Frost Fatales 2022 ended its week-long speedrunning marathon on Sunday, raising a total of $132,350 for Malala Fund. Organized by GDQ's Frame Fatales community, Frost Fatales featured more than 50 speedruns from February 27-March 6 on Twitch. Speedrunners blazed through a wide array of games in that period, including sub two-hour runs of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Mass Effect, and Pokémon Pearl.
Frost Fatales 2022 was held in support of Malala Fund, a non-profit that works to secure free, safe, and quality education for girls around the world. In summer 2021, Flame Fatales raised more than $127,000 for the charity.
Frame Fatales' summer event Flame Fatales 2022 will return in August.
Since 2010, Games Done Quick has partnered with some of the world’s most impactful charities, including AbleGamers, Doctors Without Borders, Organization for Autism Research, and Prevent Cancer Foundation, all while bringing people together to cheer on the best speedrunners and gamers in the world. To date, Games Done Quick events have raised more than $37.9 million in total for charity.
