- This week's new titles are the vertical scrolling shoot 'em up Zippy Bug (aka Noboranka) and martial arts fighting game The Way of the Exploding Fist

London, 16th May : Antstream, purveyors of retro cloud gaming goodness, are proud to announce two new titles coming to the retro streaming service. Zippy Bug (Arcade), aka Noboranka, and The Way of the Exploding Fist (Amstrad CPC) will both be available to play on the Antstream service from this week.

Also, retro fans should keep an eye out for this week’s new challenge, this time for the 1984 SNES game Ghoul Patrol, titled “Don’t Fear the Reaper”.

Zippy Bug is an arcade title from 1986, published by Data East. In this vertical shoot 'em up, players are tasked with climbing a gigantic tree, and more, while shooting projectiles upwards and avoiding enemies.

The Way of the Exploding Fist was initially launched in 1985 by Beam Dog. This martial arts fighting game has the player compete in matches to win yin-yangs that will allow the player to proceed to their next adversary. The game launched Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, BBC Micro, Acorn Electron and Commodore 16, becoming the best selling computer game of 1985, and winning multiple awards, including Game of the Year at the third Golden Joystick Awards.

With both Zippy Bug and The Way of the Exploding Fist on Antstream, retro gamers can compare their skills with other players on the global leaderboards and instantly save progress with Antstream's cloud system to pause and resume whenever they wish.

"Two great new titles added to Antstream this week. A chaotic Arcade game and a skillful martial arts fighter. Both games are a great addition to the Antstream library and are sure to become fast favourites for retro gamers." - Steve Cottam, CEO of Antstream.
