Astra Logical adds Jordan Taylor as Brand Manager

September 27, 2024  - Los Angeles, CA - Astra Logical wants to humblebrag about how they have hired another industry veteran, Jordan Taylor, to join their growing team of brilliant folks dedicated to publishing system and strategy games that don’t hate you.
 

(This is Jordan and he’s so cool that his hair couldn’t even handle it anymore and decided to leave and make him more aerodynamic, which has further fueled his coolness factor)

Jordan's professional background includes time spent with Raw Fury as Commercial Manager, and GameDiscoverCo as the Head of Business Development. Jordan has facilitated launch strategy and execution for a variety of titles including Dome Keeper and Forgotton Anne, and he's now bringing his wealth of experience and knowledge to the Astra team.

"I've had the fortune of seeing the best and worst of what publishers have to offer,” said Jordan Taylor, “and I can say unequivocally that what we're doing at Astra is better than any other team out there. This team is setting a new bar for excellence, and it's a privilege for me to be here in support of that mission.”

“We are thrilled to be growing our team to better support our partners,” said Heather Jackson, Managing Director of Astra and another Kentucky native who firmly denies that Astra hired Jordan solely so they could discuss horses and bluegrass. “Jordan clearly has that dog in 'em, and that's really what Astra's about.”

The primary downside of having Jordan join the Astra Logical team is that people will now realize how short the rest of the team is whenever they take team photos.

With extra help now from Jordan, Astra Logical will be launching Rebots, a first-person automation game with an expansive universe to explore, by FlatPonies on October 7th, 2024. Dawnfolk, a minimalist survival city-builder, and several other titles will be coming out in 2025.
