Nominated for ‘Most Innovative Gameplay’ at the 2023 Steam Awards and awarded Ukie’s UK Game of the Show at gamescom 2022, Shadows of Doubt is an immersive crime-solving sim that puts players in the role of a private investigator.
Explore fully simulated cities and meet individual citizens each with their own name, job, apartment and daily routine. Use gadgets to uncover evidence, track down criminals and crack each case in a city where anybody could be a suspect. Scan fingerprints, browse call logs, read private emails, check CCTV, pick locks, and sabotage security systems... With multiple ways to solve each case, become the detective that you want to be.
Shadows of Doubt – 1.0 Update New Features:
New Case Type: Kidnapping – Take on a brand new type of investigation with the introduction of Kidnapping cases, where detectives are tasked with finding and saving a victim from the perpetrator, acting quickly to solve clues in time.
Cover Ups – A new feature where the killer may contact detectives to dispose of key evidence in exchange for cash. When desperate times call for desperate measures, will your moral compass be swayed...?
Laboratories – Expand your investigation to laboratories, new explorable spaces that can appear throughout buildings, and featuring new items and furniture that can be used to decorate your detective’s home.
New Pre-Generated Cities – Discover two new pre-generated cities to free from the clutches of crime with the Casablanca Quarter and New Lily-Crofte.
The Umbrella! – Become fully immersed in the role of a private detective in a rainy neo-noir world with a brand new clothing accessory, the Umbrella.
All new content is available by downloading today’s 1.0 update on PC, and included with the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions at launch.
