SAN FRANCISCO and LOS ANGELES (March 11, 2022) - Azarus, the technology company developing a platform to gamify livestreams, will be bringing a special edition of its popular trivia overlay game to The Streamer Awards, hosted by beloved streamer QTCinderella on Twitch with Maya Higa on March 12 and live in Los Angeles at 5 p.m. PST.

Featuring a series of custom trivia questions specifically created for passionate fans of the streamers being honored, there will be more than 5 million AZA credits (~$50,000 in value) up for grabs for viewers who participate while watching the livestream. AZAs can be redeemed in the Azarus Store, a gigantic digital shop featuring premium video games such as Horizon Forbidden West and Olli Olli World, or in-game currencies for massive online games like Fortnite and Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA).

“Azarus turns livestreams into a digital arena and our trivia game for The Streamer Awards is a truly tailored experience for viewers to play along to the live show,” Azarus VP of marketing Laura Cordrey said. “This set of questions will reward those who can accurately guess the winners and there’s some fun trivia for the most passionate fans of these popular, amazing streamers.”

The award show features 27 categories, with some of the most popular streamers on Twitch nominated, including NickMercs, Emiru, Shroud, Scarra, T-Pain, Pokemane, DrLupo, xQcOW and dozens more.

“We wanted to make this a special night for streamers and our communities and Azarus is helping us take it to the next level,” The Streamer Awards founder, showrunner and host QTCinderella said. “Viewers can have fun playing along and earning rewards through Azarus.”

Azarus currently offers its overlay trivia game on Twitch for League of Legends, Rainbow Six: Siege and For Honor and will release new trivia games for highly-streamed titles as well as expand to new streaming platforms in the future.
