Azur Lane Celebrates 6th Anniversary with "Windborne Steel Wings" Event: Introducing Five New Shipgirls and a Trove of Freebies

August 15, 2024 - Shanghai, China - Naval shoot-em-up mobile game, Azur Lane, has launched its latest event, "Windborne Steel Wings," featuring the debut of five new shipgirls, including three distinguished Super Rare shipgirls. In addition to these new shipgirls, Commanders can acquire ten newly-released skins from the shop and a variety of other exciting rewards available throughout the event. All Commanders are invited to participate in the event, which ends on August 28th at 11:59 PM (UTC-7).

Event Updates and Rewards

This time the story features the Eagle Union. Fargo, Bell, Herring, and Pittsburgh are enjoying a relaxing and pleasant camping trip. However, with the appearance of a series of unusual phenomena, they find themselves trapped in a surreal illusion...

In addition to the event storyline, a limited-time event is taking place, running until August 28th, 2024. To celebrate its 6th anniversary, Azur Lane has prepared a series of events for Commanders to participate in and gain a plethora of exciting benefits. The Wishing Well event allows Commanders to choose up to two characters who were added to the three permanent Construction pools before May 21st, 2024, and have their drop rates increased.

Moreover, there is a Special Login Campaign during the event where Commanders can receive daily rewards. On the 7th day, they will receive a "6th Anniv Invitation," which allows them to select one from eight popular shipgirls. Additionally, Azur Lane reset the Double Gem bonus, enabling players to enjoy the first purchase double bonus again.

Apart from the mentioned events, all players will receive 700 Gems, 1 Promise Ring, and more as part of the 6th-anniversary celebration.

New Shipgirls and Construction

This event introduces five new shipgirls. By playing through event stages, Commanders can earn PT and receive the new Elite shipgirl Herring as a milestone reward upon accumulating enough PT. Additionally, Commanders can exchange their PT for various rewards, including one of the three new Super Rare shipgirls, Fargo. The other two Super Rare shipgirls, Pittsburgh and Indiana, have a rate-up in the Limited Construction Pool alongside another newly-launched Elite shipgirl, Bell. All five of these new shipgirls come from the Eagle Union. In addition to these five new additions, the event also features a retrofit for Eldridge.

New Arrivals in the Event Shop

During this event, eight new skins from the Wild West series and two new skins from the Swimsuits series have been introduced. Among the new Wild West skins are one L2D skin and two dynamic skins: "The Bartender's Gambit" for Pittsburgh, "High Noon Arrest" for Indiana, "Dairy in the Dreary Sun" for Fargo, and a special dynamic skin "A Saint's Mercy Can Do No Wrong" for Kersaint. The two new Swimsuits skins are both L2D skins: "Fresh and Fortunate" for Painlevé and "One Summer Night's Intimacy" for Friedrich der Große. Commanders can rent the skins for Pittsburgh, Painlevé, and Friedrich der Große using outfit vouchers, which they can earn by simply logging in throughout the event. Additionally, nine skins from the Swimsuits and Sports Time series are making a rerun, featuring Clemenceau, Enterprise, and Helena’s L2D skins, as well as dynamic skins for Painlevé and Kersaint. Commanders who previously missed these skins now have another chance to acquire them.

Furthermore, limited furniture sets that were on sale before May 21st, 2024, excluding collaboration sets, are also returning for a limited time.
