No (fish)bones about it — the “Jerk Update” adds authentic combative personality and hierarchy traits to territorial fish breeds, giving afishionados an additional dynamic variable to consider (alongside water chemistry, plant health, tank cleanliness, and much more!).
Sit back and watch as aquatic adversaries assert deep dominance over their fellow tankmates, and witness fin-to-fin fish fights where the victor will become the Tank Boss.
Drop newly added cichlids and other territorial species into the tank, factoring in their real-life tendencies. Watch as they stake out a spot and defend it against unwanted intruders.

As part of the Jerk Update, Fish Game introduces a rare new fish to the mix with the new Atabapo Pike Cichlid, whose behavior was designed with help from 2.6-million follower YouTube content creator (and fellow fish enthusiast) Draegast.
Become the most so-fish-ticated aquarium connoisseur and design multiple fish tanks to one’s liking. Care for over 50 species of fish, each with their own cluster of behaviors and personalities. Cure ailments, decorate their homes with a bevy of plants and accessories, and monitor each tank’s oxygen levels to cultivate a flourishing ecosystem.
