Bandai Namco Amusement Europe announces Animal Kaiser Plus . A return of popular kids’ arcade trading card game Animal Kaiser

Richmond, London – 15 May 2024 – Bandai Namco Amusement Europe announces Animal Kaiser Plus, a return of popular kids’ arcade trading card game, Animal Kaiser. Animal Kaiser Plus is available in arcades across the UK from April.


Animal Kaiser returns as Animal Kaiser Plus due to popular demand from operators, players, and card collectors alike. The arcade machine and card collecting game gives players the renewed opportunity to battle it out with their choice of animal, power-up stats, and miracle cards to become “The King of Animals”.


Animal Kaiser Plus is a new iteration of the long-standing series of card vending arcade games which originated from Japan in 2007. It retains the core gameplay that players and collectors enjoyed from the original, while including upgrades to the hardware and new cards.


The reintroduction of Animal Kaiser comes in a brand-new red cabinet design with a 16:9 monitor compared to the 4:3 screen utilised for older arcade machines.


Players who played Animal Kaiser as children can experience Animal Kaiser Plus as an adult with a new addition of “Card Buying Mode” that allows players to buy cards from the arcade machine without needing to play the game.


78 cards can be collected from Version 1 with Version 2 yet to be announced. Only new cards from Animal Kaiser Plus can be used on the new machine. Cards from the original Animal Kaiser cannot be used in Animal Kaiser Plus.
