Antstream :

London UK, May 1st: Antstream, the world’s leading retro game streaming service, is excited to announce the addition of two new titles to the service. Multidirectional shooters Berzerk, from 1980, and Frenzy, from 1982, were both originally launched as arcade machines and can now be enjoyed by retro game fans on Antstream.

Designed by Alan McNeil, Berzerk was originally released to arcades in 1980 by Stern Electronics of Chicago and was one of the first arcade games to feature speech synthesis. The game is played from a top-down point of view and consists of maze-like rooms filled with armed robots.

Two years later saw the launch of Frenzy, again by Alan McNeil and Stern Electronics. Frenzy was the sequel to Berzerk and as such followed the same style of gameplay. Both Berzerk and Frenzy made appearances on various early consoles after their arcade debuts.

Now, retro gamers can enjoy both Berzerk and Frenzy on the Antstream service, complete with global leaderboards, allowing players to compare their skills, and Antstream's cloud system to instantly save game progress, so players can put down and pick up games at any time.
