Bitmates, a Charming MMORPG with Cosmetic NFTs, has Released a Farming Update
Grow crops, cook new recipes, and enjoy the fruit of your harvest!
August 1, 2024 - Bitmates has released an exciting new update that incorporates a much desired skill to the game: Farming! With the new skill, players also have access to a brand new map expansion called Clear Skies Farm. Enjoy your time under the sun, cultivating many different types of seeds that you can incorporate into brand new cooking and alchemy recipes. All you need to get started is to craft yourself a shovel and get to digging!
The farming update to Bitmates includes other exciting features:
A new skill to grow crops
13 new seeds as you level up your skill
A unique, time-based progression system in leveling
Farming encourages regular login and gameplay to maintain your crops
Harvest valuable resources used in cooking, alchemy, and other skills
New map expansion: Clear Skies Farm and Milton, the new farming NPC!
The farming update doesn’t simply end with a new farming skill. Bitmates Games Inc. is also introducing a new mailing system! This is an important piece of infrastructure that allows the developers to eventually transfer items to and from the blockchain.
Members can now send mail to other players (at the low cost of 25 gold per letter)
Mail allows you to send players items across servers
Players receive mail even while offline, a notification will show in the chat to let you know that you have a new letter
The mailbox is located outside of NPC Wilson’s hut
Bitmates Games Inc. doesn’t stop there. There are two exciting events coming soon!
The Killing Spree event lasts for the remainder of this month, and each kill against Crustadon and Nightfang earns you a raffle ticket to win Bitmates and other prizes!
The Banana Brawl 3 is taking place on July 21st at 4:00 PM, so be sure you sign up for the 3rd Bitmates PvP event through the Official Discord Link.
