Seoul - September 25, 2024 - Nexon’s RPG Action Strategy Roleplaying game Blue Archive has just released the brand new ‘Rowdy and Cheery’ update! The “Rowdy and Cheery” update features a brand new story featuring the Gehenna Academy and the Allied Hyakkiyako Academy, new characters Tsubaki (Guide) and Umika, a new game mode ‘Final Restriction Release” and new LINE emojis to celebrate.
In Blue Archive, the player has been appointed as an advisor to the Federal Investigation Club, Schale, located in Kivotos, a massive city with numerous academies. Resolve the endless incidents that happen in the city while building relationships with charming anime characters packed with personality through RPG Action Strategy and thrilling military action gameplay.
Blue Archives ‘’Rowdy and Cheery’ Update features a variety of new content to enjoy, including:
A Brand New Story - This story chronicles the occurrences between the Gehenna Academy students, who go on a field trip to Hyakkiyako, and the Allied Hyakkiyako Academy students, who now suddenly have to greet their guests. The Event Story consists of 10 episodes in total. Completing the story will provide various rewards, including "Pyroxenes" and "Credit Points."
New Characters Tsubaki (Guide) and Umika - Tsubaki (Guide) is an Allied Hyakkiyako Academy Inner Discipline Club student, who takes on the role of a tour guide in the Event Story. In battle, she is a Piercing-type Special student, who can increase the ATK of allies in a circular area for 45 seconds with her EX Skill. Umika, a student from the Allied Hyakkiyako Academy Festival Operations Department, has been added as a Mystic-type Striker. She can summon a Fireworks Launcher, which can deal significant damage to a single enemy with her EX Skill.
Final Restriction Release - A new mode where players challenge a strong boss that appears in each stage. To help ensure success, up to 6 Strikers and 4 Special students can be assigned to a unit. This mode will also increase the maximum amount of cost and the number of skill cards that players can hold. Players can obtain growth items like Credit Points and Enhancement Stones, as well as Workbooks, which are used in the new growth system, Talent Unlock. The first season will end on 10/21 at 11:59 AM PT / 6:59 PM UTC.
New Line Emojis - On September 24th, Nexon released new emojis on the instant messenger platform, LINE. Consisting of 40 expressions from Blue Archive students like Arona, Hoshino, Aru, and Mika, the emoji set stands out for its vibrant colors and charming crayon-like design.
