Byte the Bullet, the new action-platformer game created by the solo dev Lion Ant Games and published by JanduSoft, is officially available today on all platforms. Byte the Bullet, a nostalgic homage to video games from the 80s and 90s, offers players a retro-style journey into a virus-infected computer where all systems have been compromised, and it is up to the player to restore order.
Players will explore a non-linear campaign, navigating throught different computer systems such as the Hard Disk Device, Video Card, and Power Supply, each of which tests unique skills like memory, sight, and hearing. As they progress, they'll unlock game attributes like color or check points.
“This game is a love letter to the games that defined a generation,” says Esteban Marin, the solo developer behind Lion Ant Games. “Byte the Bullet is packed with cameos and parodies from classics like Rockman, Super Mario, and Doom, but with a modern twist of humor and sarcasm".
Byte the Bullet is now available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One.
