Global game publisher CFK (headed by Chang-sig Koo) is proud to announce today (8/8) the global release of the PlayStation 5 (PS5) downloadable version of side-scrolling action game Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony, released to positive reviews on Steam and the Nintendo Switch™.
 
Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony is a 2D side-scrolling action game featuring characters from the Touhou Project series, and it was released to the globe on July 28th of 2022.
 
This release to the PS5 will allow even more players to experience Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony on modern consoles after its release to Steam and the Nintendo Switch™. In time with the release of the PS5 version of Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony, CFK is opening the PlayStation store page and announcing details about this new release.
 
CFK is also holding a promotional discount to celebrate the release of the PS5 version of Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony. PlayStation Plus subscribers can get their hands on the PS5 version of Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony at a 10% discount until September 4th (Wednesday).
 
The game centers around main character Reimu Hakurei, who is heading to the Scarlet Devil Castle to find the cause of a mysterious event plaguing Gensokyo. This year-old game is still beloved by fans for the dark atmosphere and character design of popular illustrator Banpai Akira (晩杯あきら), along with audio that matches the mood and the complete experience of the game.
 
Newer versions of Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony have improved upon the quality of the original version by adding HD graphics and various other elements to the game. It also includes English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and French, and is now fully-voiced by popular voice actresses, a feature that was not in the original.

In addition to this, there are a whole host of features for players to enjoy, including various achievements, unlockables to collect, and “Extra Easy” mode, which will help those unfamiliar with this style of action game reach the ending.
