Chinese Indie Publisher Gamirror Games Shines at Tokyo Game Show 2024 with Over 20 Game Announcements

The 2024 Tokyo Game Show opened on September 26, and Chinese indie game publisher Gamirror Games made a major appearance on the official TGS livestream. During their “Gamirror Games Now TGS 2024 Special Program,” they unveiled details about more than 20 upcoming titles, including Dyson Sphere Program, The Rewinder 2, Lunavania, and Lost and Found Co.. Let’s take a closer look at the latest information on these exciting games.

After its first appearance at TGS in 2020, Dyson Sphere Program returned for its fifth consecutive year at the event. The game’s producer shared exciting new features, including a vehicle system, ultimate weapons, and new game collaborations. Additionally, a multilingual update was announced for future releases, including German, French, Japanese, and more, allowing players worldwide to better enjoy the experience of building Dyson Spheres.

Developed by MistyMountainStudio, The Rewinder 2 is an action-adventure game that builds on the stunning pixel art style of its predecessor while making bold advances in gameplay. The game adds more action elements to the puzzle-solving narrative of the first title. Players control the Dream Weaver “Qiyun,” unlocking skills and collecting runes to tackle the various challenges of the labyrinths and uncover the secrets of the White Lotus Sect. A demo version of the game will be available to players during the Steam Next Fest in October.

STARIO: Haven Tower, developed by Stargate Games, is a city-building simulation game where players construct a towering structure, expanding space, gathering resources, and managing logistics between floors to ultimately build a vertical city. During the building process, players can enjoy breathtaking views of different skies and aerial wonders but will also face natural disasters. The game is expected to be released in 2025.

Developed by WhiteWolfGame, Lunavania is a 2D pixel roguelike side-scrolling action shooter with a unique pixel art style. The game offers multiple characters to choose from, each with unique abilities and rich build options. With over 100 different weapons, equipment, and skills, which can be endlessly combined and stacked, players can fully enjoy the randomness and freedom of roguelike gameplay. The game is set to be released in Q1 2025.

From Thai developer Bit Egg Inc., Lost and Found Co. is a cheerful and relaxing point-and-click hidden object adventure with a bright and cute art style. In the game, players help a forgotten deity named Melong search for mysterious lost items and restore his former glory! By finding lost items, earning wages, attracting new clients, and customizing your office, players will experience unexpected events along the way. The game is expected to release in 2025, with a demo currently available.

Ballads of Hongye: Reborn, developed by SEASUN GAMES PTE. LTD., is a simulation game set in ancient Eastern times. Players arrive in Hongye County to show off their skills, building and expanding the region. Every decision will impact the residents' enthusiasm and hopes for their future. You'll enjoy the process of city-building while also bearing the responsibility of saving and aiding the people. The game is set for an October release.

Developed by Ultra Piggy Studio, DICEOMANCER is a roguelike deck-building game. In addition to traditional deck-building mechanics, the game introduces a unique dice system that not only adds randomness but allows players to change numbers to enhance strategic gameplay. The game will be released on Steam on October 10.

Be Fun House’s Too Tired To Die is a fast-paced survivor-like multiplayer PvP game that supports up to 99 players in chaotic battle royales. Players take on the role of an overworked employee who mistakenly enters the underworld, fighting alongside deities to defeat hordes of demons. By enhancing their skills and spells, players can ultimately defeat the other lost souls and be the last one standing. The game is expected to release in Q1 2025.

Dread Tomb, developed by SAILING GAME STUDIO, is a multiplayer action-adventure game that supports up to 4 players. Together with teammates, players will explore mysterious tombs filled with traps, eerie creatures, and even curses. Using various tools and their wits, players will overcome countless obstacles to retrieve valuable treasures and escape the tomb. The game is expected to release in Q1 2025.

Developed by POLLARD STUDIO LLC, KARMA: The Dark World is a first-person narrative-driven psychological horror game. Players take on the role of Daniel, an agent from the Leviathan Bureau of Thought, navigating a world full of espionage and betrayal while investigating a case that hides dark and profound secrets. The game’s demo will be available during Steam Next Fest in October.

Tales of Awakening: Risen, a fantasy action RPG developed by TANER GAMES, released a new trailer showcasing airship combat, dragon taming, and manor-building mechanics. The game is currently in development and is expected to be available to players soon.
 
Developed by YiTi Games, Mercury Abbey is a pixel-art puzzle game featuring anthropomorphic animal characters. The game blends early mystery elements with classic cultural references, using an imaginative world populated by these anthropomorphic animals. Players will explore the society, customs, and interspecies relationships as they uncover the secrets of this world. The game is set to be released on November 22.

Illusion Box, developed by Bad Image, is a pixel-style puzzle game with subtle horror elements. It tells the story of the first virtual reality theme park of the 21st century, Illusion Box, which was forced to shut down due to malicious rumors and a virus outbreak. Now, the abandoned Illusion Box is being restarted, giving players a uniquely creative experience.

NANZHAI GAME’s Fools, Maniacs and Liars is a suspenseful narrative game filled with Chinese horror and dark humor. The story unfolds slowly, revealing the mysterious history of the Mount Wu Buddha.

Kingdom of Cards, developed by Rubber Duck Games, is a strategy game where players use cards to build their kingdom, defend against enemies, and grow stronger. By combining and stacking cards, players can create various materials, buildings, characters, and equipment to explore the world, collect more cards, and discover the mysteries of the land while strengthening their kingdom.

Additionally, titles such as Shapez 2, Garlant: My Story, Depersonalization, Candlelight: Lament, Thought Experiment Simulator, and AiliA also made appearances during the “Gamirror Games Now TGS 2024 Special Program.” Gamirror Games promises to bring even more exciting games in the future—stay tuned!
