SEATTLE, WA - July 31, 2024 - Studio Wildcard and development partner Grove Street Games today announced the release of ARK: Genesis Part 2 for ARK: Survival Evolved on Nintendo Switch. This massive free expansion map lets Survivors explore a vast new world teeming with strange biomes and creatures on a colony ship traveling through deep space. Throughout this adventure, Survivors can engage in story missions to conclude the ARK saga with a final confrontation between the AI companion HLN-A, voiced by Madeleine Madden (“The Wheel of Time”), versus the deranged Sir Edmund Rockwell, voiced by David Tennant (“Doctor Who”)!

 

ARK: Genesis Part 2 comes as a free download for owners of ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition, which includes all the original ARK: Survival Evolved content and its huge Expansion Packs Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, and Genesis Part 1 & 2, or available within the ARK Genesis Pass and the ARK: Ultimate Survivor Upgrade.

ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition is coming to mobile! NEW STORY-ORIENTED MISSIONS
A holographic guide, HLN-A, voiced by Madeleine Madden (“The Wheel of Time”), offers a wide array of engaging new story-oriented missions at varying difficulty levels, as Survivors build up strength for a final battle with Rockwell, voiced by David Tennant (“Doctor Who”). Complete missions to earn map-wide bonuses and Hexagons, which can be spent for extra resources, Engram Points, TEK items, travel between environments, and more. EXPANSIVE WORLDS TO CONQUER
Emerge from the Genesis Part I simulation into a gargantuan starship filled with unique biomes, including beautiful elysian fields, an exotic twilight realm of highly evolved lifeforms, the depths of outer-space, and even the innards of the ever-expanding Rockwell himself. Whether it’s sentient alien plants, Rockwell’s digestive fluids, or asteroids warping in from intergalactic space travel, each biome presents unique hazards, but also opportunities to acquire new resources and creatures -- including the powerful new ‘Mutagen’ that enables you to further evolve your existing tames!
