FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SCi Games Ltd (a subsidiary of SCi Entertainment Group Plc) today announced that Conflict: Vietnam will be shipped to retail stores across North America on Sony PlayStationTM 2, MicrosoftTM Xbox and PC effective from October 6th 2004.
Published in North America by Global Star Software, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software Inc, Conflict: Vietnam transports the Conflict series from the deserts of the Middle East to the jungles of Vietnam. Conflict: Vietnam builds upon the signature squad based gameplay that has to date sold over 4 million units worldwide.
Conflict: Vietnam follows the progress of four US soldiers, Ragman, Junior, Hoss and Cherry, cut off from their unit during the 1968 Tet Offensive and tasked with fighting their way back to friendly lines. A third person shooter where the player takes full control of all four squad members, Conflict: Vietnam does not set out to depict the course of the war; instead we witness four men struggling for survival in the hostile Vietnam jungle against a ruthless terrain and seemingly ever-present 'invisible' enemy.
