"Woodo" takes players on a serene adventure, immersing them in a heartwarming world through diorama-style puzzle assembly mechanics. Whether young or old, the game’s wholesome storytelling will captivate players of all ages. The peaceful, creative nature of the gameplay makes it an ideal addition to any console library.
While the PC version of "Woodo" will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show, Daedalic's announcement of console versions, particularly for the next-generation consoles, is set to generate significant media traction.
Carsten Fichtelmann, CEO of Daedalic Entertainment, highlights the strategic importance of the Japanese market:
"Japan is one of the top four markets globally for us, particularly when it comes to multi-platform titles on PlayStation and Switch. We've learned from previous TGS appearances that titles showcased there tend to perform exceptionally well in Japan compared to the global average. With the upcoming new generation, we are preparing for significant growth in this key market."
In addition to "Woodo", Daedalic Entertainment will also present two other captivating titles:
"The Occultist" – A terrifying horror experience where players accompany Alan Rebels on his most spine-chilling occult investigation.
"Wild Woods" – An action-packed, cooperative couch co-op game where 1-4 players take on the role of brave little cats defending their wooden wagon as it makes its way through a perilous forest.
