Dale North's Little-Know Galaxy Soundtrack Now Available

North is best known for his work on the grittier Wargroove 2, Dreamscaper, and Wizard of Legend soundtracks, but over the years, he's also applied his versatility to farming games as well. His compositions are the perfect accompaniment to the stellar gameplay and visual presentation offered by Little-Known Galaxy, a charming cozy single-player RPG space adventure full of friendly characters, exploration, crafting, and farming. The Little-Known Galaxy Original Game Soundtrack is out today on all digital storefronts and streaming platforms ahead of next week's release of the game on Steam:

"I think anyone would be charmed by this game pretty easily," notes composer Dale North. "It was the same story for me, even early on when we first agreed to work together on Little Known Galaxy. One thing was clear to me even then: so much love and care went into this game that I really needed to match that energy. I felt a pure sense of enjoyment from the gameplay and storyline so I wanted to try to write something just as focused. For me, something small and cute that went straight for the heart felt like the best fit. I chose to write to full classic General MIDI specifications just as many of my favorite soundtracks of the games of the 1980s and 1990s were created. This means no recordings or fancy instruments -- just a single soundchip and the goal of making players smile. I hope everyone enjoys this lovely game!"

In Little-Known Galaxy, players join the Space Alliance as a new captain-in-training and work with their crew to solve the mysteries of an ancient relic found on the Grey Planet. Unlock the secret of a mysterious relic and complete the Star Alliance mission. What mysteries will it uncover? What kind of adventure lies ahead? And who will be met along the way? Players will do well to remember to support their crew, follow their heart, and always take care of each other.

About Dale North


Dale North is a composer, arranger, and orchestrator for videogames, based in San Diego. As a multi-instrumentalist (piano, vocal, brass), performer, and singer- songwriter with an international training, he brings a unique voice to videogame music.


Dale's music mixes traditional instrumentation with vintage colors, blending live pianos and orchestral tones with the synthesizers and sound sets that shaped the sounds of games from the Super Nintendo and PlayStation eras. His upbringing in Tokyo, Japan helped shape his melodic sense (and his love of synthesizers), and he continues to hold the traditions of game music in the highest regard. He's best known for his work on Astral Ascent, RWBY: Arrowfell, Wizard of Legend, Wargroove 2, Dreamscaper, Sparklite, and Nintendo Minute.
