Nellyvision :

It’s here! Deathtrap Dungeon: The Interactive Adventure will be released on PlayStation®5 tomorrow (September 6th).

Updated Features Include:

  • New dice roll mechanics allow you to shake the dice. Maybe you’ll find that sweet spot where your dice rolls all just seem a little bit better.

  • 4K Videos.

  • Hand tinted illustrations

  • Lots of Audio and Graphical polishes

From the comfort of your sofa sit back and let Eddie Marsan (Fast & Furious presents Hobbes & Shaw, Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde) lure you into the depths of Baron Sukumvit’s Deathtrap Dungeon in this faithful adaptation of Ian Livingstone’s multi-million selling classic from the Fighting Fantasy series. Full of tricks, traps, and literal dead ends, you’ll be fighting loathsome monsters as you compete to escape the dungeon and claim the prize.

Part story, part game, this branching interactive video adventure contains nearly 5 hours of 4K video. Create your character. Pick from either the original, or a newer, some may say easier, combat system. Then enter the dungeon, where each choice matters. There’s no cheating here to check where your choice will take you, or fudging those dice rolls, but with ample save points you’ll be back in the adventure in no time.

Deathtrap Dungeon by Ian Livingstone, originally released in 1984 was the 6th book in the Fighting Fantasy series of gamebooks. The series went on to sell over 20 million copies worldwide in 32 languages. For many the books were their introduction to the world of RPGs and gaming.
