Eric Rodríguez, designer of the board games like Riverwood Town (inspired on indie title Dorfromantik) and Growing Season (inspired on successful farm game Stardew Valley) has joined forces with Undigital to bring a video game from Chibig Studio, Mika and the Witch’s Mountain, into a board game.
Gamer lovers familiar with Ghibli movies and cute aesthetics will feel right at home in this pick and delivery game.
About the game:
On a small island, under a magical mountain, there’s a new special courier service in town!
In Delivery Witches, you play as one of the apprentice witches, who will have to master their broomstick skills by delivering packages to the townsfolk. Move around the island to pick up packages, deliver them and improve your skills to gradually climb the mountain.
Soar the skies, fly against climate dangers, and earn experience by accepting assignments from the island's neighbors. Every drop, every skill and every coin you earn, brings you a little closer to the top of the mountain. Only the best ones will become... Delivery Witches!
The game will seek funding on Kickstarter in October this year, and the campaign will conclude after 30 days. The expected release if the game gets funded is around early 2025. The pre-launch page is now active
