Apex, North Carolina —July 26th, 2024— Double Fine Productions and Limited Run Games today revealed a limited Blu-ray set for the highly acclaimed documentary Double Fine PsychOdyssey. Starting today, Double Fine fans will be able to pre-order this limited 2,000-copy collector’s edition exclusively on limitedrungames.com. Pre-orders will close on August 25th.

In 2015, Double Fine and 2 Player Productions released Double Fine Adventure, a revelatory look at the making of Broken Age. With the hit series under their belt, 2 Player returned to document the six-year development of Psychonauts 2. Recording 5,000 hours of behind-the-scenes access, PsychOdyssey pushes the envelope for transparency in the games industry, covering the challenges of developing, publishing, project and staff management, corporate acquisition, and the pandemic’s impact on developers in real time.

This collection includes all 33 episodes that follow the team’s troubles and triumphs, plus two bonus discs with a collection of extended interviews, backer updates, deleted scenes, promotional videos, and never-before-seen content! Exclusive to this release is an 80-page booklet that follows the story of PsychOdyssey from the perspective of 2 Player Productions.
