Epic action RPG Xuan Yuan Sword 7 out now for Nintendo Switch

Today we are proud to announce that acclaimed action RPG Xuan Yuan Sword 7 has officially launched for Nintendo Switch, available digitally on the eShop in North America, Europe, Japan and Asia. A Xuan Yuan Sword Mystic RPG Bundle will be available on the Nintendo Switch eShop including Xuan Yuan Sword 7 and Xuan Yuan Sword: Mists Beyond the Mountains at a 10% discount, plus an additional 10% launch discount will be applied for a limited time. Physical editions are also now shipping from online retail partner Playasia.


Inspired by Chinese legends and mythology, standalone epic Xuan Yuan Sword 7 is the latest and most advanced game in the series’ 33-year history. This Nintendo Switch version of the game has been made possible by eastasiasoft in partnership with Softstar Entertainment Inc. and original developer DOMO Studio. Porting has been led by eastasiasoft in close cooperation with Catness Game Studios, and the game has undergone months of optimization for the best possible experience, making this one of the most visually impressive games to release late in the life of Nintendo Switch.


Digital pricing is set at US$39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99 / 4800 JPY / 288 HKD before applicable discounts on the eShop. For physical release, eastasiasoft has committed to having the full experience on the game card which requires a 16GB card due to the RPG’s immense size, high-end graphics and cinematic presentation. Limited Editions include the game, manual, soundtrack CD, art book and numbered certificate in a collector’s box. Standard copies are also available.


Xuan Yuan Sword 7 features subtitle support for English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. Xuan Yuan Sword 7 is also currently available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but Japanese language support is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version.
