Poleaxe Games announced today that the action RPG with real-time strategy and management elements Empire of Ember is releasing today on Steam. The game comes to full release after 10 months in Early Access, during which it has grown and evolved thanks to the support and feedback of its community. Empire of Ember releases for $24.99/€20.99 with a launch discount of 25% (so the price will be $18.74/€15.74 while the discount is available). Check out the new release trailer below these lines!

Since the game was first released on Steam Early Access on March 30th 2021, Poleaxe Games has been working tirelessly on new features and content, revamped graphics and dialogues, localizations, and a long list of other gameplay improvements – as well as completing its main storyline and single-player campaign, that sets you as a battlemage who inherits rule over a ruined city after your master was killed in the siege that also caused its destruction. While you grow into your powers and track the killers of your old master, you discover a mystery that can threaten the foundations of the whole continent – and it will be ultimately up to you to put an end to it. The destiny of an empire lies in your hand.
ABOUT EMPIRE OF EMBER
In this adventure, set in the world of its spiritual predecessor Ember, you’ll play as a battlemage who must rise from dust after his/her master got killed in a siege led by a mysterious cult. Bring your town back to prosperity and avenge your mentor while investigating the strange events behind his murder. Lead your troops in thrilling battles of up to a hundred units in fully destructible environments, explore a world of procedurally generated maps and dungeons, and build and customise your town with total freedom.

Kevin started this self-funded project working in secret and set the grounds of his debut game: Empire of Ember. The game entered Early Access in March 2021, and after five years in development is finally getting a full release on Steam in January 2022.
