[2024-0809] On Friday the 9th, Smilegate announced that its global hit mobile RPG "Epic Seven," serviced by Smilegate and developed by Super Creative, has been updated with new summer content.
 
This summer update introduces a special Side Story featuring a rhythm game and two limited summer Heroes.
 
From August 8th to September 5th, players can dive into the new Side Story: Welcome to Oasis Land!, for about four weeks. This story follows Eda, Choux, and Mercedes on a trip to the water park in the kingdom of Lefundos within the Epic Seven universe. Notably, this Side Story introduces Epic Seven's first-ever rhythm game mini-game. The rhythm game features a keyboard with five keys, allowing players to perform famous OSTs and BGMs from Epic Seven, including "Frozen Eclipse," which gained popularity through a collaboration with virtual idol Airi Kanna for E7WC 2024, as well as "Desperate" sung by YOUNHA, and "INVINCIBLE" by YB.
 
Players can also collect limited character Profile Cards and Illustrations from the Side Story, allowing them to decorate their Profile and Lobby screens with a summer vibe.
 
In addition, the update features two new limited summer Heroes, including the new hero "Festive Eda," inspired by Eda from the special Side Story. Festive Eda is a powerful shadow elf high wizard with an amusing trait: she is terrified of wearing swimsuits. Her third skill, "Let Me Give It a Try," silences all enemies and makes them unable to be buffed. She also becomes stealthed at the start of battle and at the end of each turn, increasing her survival chances. Additionally, if she is not in stealth at the start of her turn, she enters a "Shyness" state, during which her powerful skill "Expected Outcome" is activated, removing two buffs from all enemies and reducing their Defense and Combat Readiness.
 
Festive Eda will be available until August 22nd, with new Heroes to be revealed after that date.
