Erabit Studios :

Erabit is excited to announce that we are now taking over the maintenance and updates for the popular indie game, Star Survivor. This transition comes as solo developer Ken entrusts us with the future of the game, following his design ideas and roadmap.

Due to Ken's busy schedule and personal challenges, it has been difficult for him to maintain the game. After discussing the matter, Ken decided to pass the torch to Erabit. We are committed to continuing the high standard of game development that players have come to expect.

About the game
Star Survivor is a sci-fi rogue-lite survival game set in space. As the last ship in the galaxy, you must fight through hordes of hostile space bugs. To succeed, you'll need to upgrade your ship using a deck of crafted equipment and power-ups. The Early Access version featured 8 ships, 3 modes, over 200 cards, and dozens of Merged Weapon upgrades.

Fixing Existing Issues
After reading through players’ feedback and comments, Erabit identified the most critical bugs, and have already begun addressing them. The next game update will include the following fixes:
· Memory Leak Problem: Erabit mobile porting team has resolved this issue, and we are now porting the fix back to the PC version.
· Beam Weapon Bug: Fixed an issue where beam weapons wouldn't hit enemies when the ship was rotating.
· Frame Drops with Controllers: Fixed a problem causing severe frame drops after using a controller.
· Enemy Freeze Bug: Fixed a bug causing enemies to freeze and stop moving.
· Achievement Adjustments: Adjusted the values of achievements so they could be regained.

New Game Content
In addition to ongoing maintenance, Erabit will add new content and optimizations based on Ken's design ideas. Expect to see an optimized display of various UI interfaces, new cards, new spaceships, and more.
We will also recruit test players from the community and Discord when ready.

Leaving Early Access
Early Access has helped Star Survivor become a better game, and we are very grateful for your support. We believe the game content is nearly complete, and we plan to exit Early Access as soon as possible. This does not mark the end of game maintenance, but rather a new beginning. A new content pack will be released to mark the end of Early Access, featuring new ships, a ship skin system, new cards, and a new challenge mode.
We want to thank everyone who continues to play and support Star Survivor. Your love and patience are greatly appreciated.
