FAIRFAX, VA - OCTOBER 28, 2004 - Mythic Entertainment, developer and publisher of the massively-multiplayer online role-playing game, "Dark Age of Camelot," today announced that Eugene Evans has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. A veteran of the computer, online and console gaming industry with more than twenty years of experience, Evans has been consulting on marketing and distribution with Mythic since before the successful launch of "Dark Age of Camelot" in 2001. In his new role, Evans will oversee all aspects of marketing including advertising, PR and merchandising, and management of Mythic's relationships with domestic and international distributors and licensors including Vivendi Universal Games in the U.S and France Telecom GOA in Europe.

Most recently, Evans served as the President of Infinite Ventures, an independent production and consulting company he founded in 1997. In this position, he managed the development, licensing and publishing of a line of award-winning games on DVD Video, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Game Boy, Pocket PC and PalmOS. Evans has worked for small start-up developers, large video game publishers and media companies in both Europe and North America, from Imagine Software in the 80's in the U.K. to Viacom New Media in the 90's in the U.S.
