Ex-Awesomenauts developers announce brand-new studio and reveal debut title ‘Nubs!’

Utrecht, The Netherlands, October 2, 2024 — Game development studios Rangatang and Glowfish Interactive have today announced Nubs!, a brand-new chaotic multiplayer arena brawler coming to PC in 2025. Co-developed by both studios, Nubs! will also be the debut title from Rangatang, a new development studio based in the Netherlands founded by former members of Ronimo Games, developer of the 2012 indie smash hit, Awesomenauts.
With Nubs!, Rangatang and Glowfish Interactive continue the ‘multiplayer-first’ ethos of the former’s spiritual predecessor. Players will be able to join or host up to four of their best friends (or foes) in frantic, arena-styled brawls chock-full of oddball characters, formidable weapons (fish, anyone?), and deadly traps!

The core of Nubs! originated at Ronimo Games, with Rangatang purchasing and adapting the intellectual property in 2023. With a solid foundation in place at Ronimo, Nubs! has since seen a great evolution at Rangatang and, together with Glowfish Interactive, the agile, indie nature of both studios has helped the core gameplay become even more refined and awesome.
