New York, NY, USA, July 11, 2024 - SBN3 today announces that the third and concluding instalment of its hugely popular cult classic rejection sim, Class of ‘09: The Flip Side, is now available to wishlist on Steam ahead of its launch later this year. Following the massive success of the first two games, which sold over 250,000 units, The Flip Side invites players back into the world of a late 2000s American high school and all the drama that is bound to follow suit.

From the perspective of Nicole’s best friend Jecka, players are invited to step back in time to explore the late 2000’s toxic teen experience in Class of ‘09: The Flip Side. Dodge predatory teachers, verbally destroy any student who talks like a cartoon or pit everyone against each other in this irreverently comedic, boundary-pushing trip back to school.

With five unique storylines, thousands of lines of dialogue, and multiple endings, The Flip Side offers a nostalgic yet socially biting experience worthy of an A+. The game’s nonlinear storyline also means that zero homework is required, allowing players to jump straight into the high school drama without swotting up on the first two titles. True sociopaths will be in for a reward if they complete all five chapters in Class of 09: The Flip Side.

Max Field, founder of SBN3 commented: “Anyone born after 1990 continually hears about how John Hughes movies are the quintessential high school encapsulation, then you watch it and go “literally no kid cares about any classmate this much”. Class of ‘09 serves as what might be the most accurate depiction of high school in America.”

Class of ‘09 is a fully voice-acted visual novel which plays like a classic American sitcom. The series features exemplary voice acting from experienced voice actors, including Kayli Mills (Genshin Impact, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Persona 3 Reload, River City Girls), Elsie Lovelock (Baldur's Gate 3, SMITE, My Time At Portia), and Kira Buckland (Genshin Impact, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Tekken 8, Demon Slayer). Earlier this year, Elsie won a One Voice Award for best UK female performance in gaming for her role as Nicole in Class of ‘09.
