FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

August 21, 2024 – Sydney, Australia – Fenix Studios announces the launch of Office Fight, a physics-based destruction game that lets players vent their corporate frustrations. To commemorate the launch, the studio is introducing the Two Weeks' Notice campaign—a limited-time offer for anyone laid off in 2024 to claim a free copy of the game.

Fenix Studios, formed after a series of layoffs in early 2023, created Office Fight as a way to channel those experiences. "We know firsthand how tough layoffs can be," said Rick Pearce, CEO of Fenix Studios. "This campaign is our way of offering some relief and a bit of fun during challenging times."

The Two Weeks' Notice campaign runs until September 4, 2024. Participants who sign up via a Google Form will receive their free game keys once the campaign ends.

In Office Fight, players assume the role of a ghost, a former Mega Corp employee seeking revenge after an unjust layoff. With over 45 fight moves and fully destructible environments, the game offers a cathartic, chaotic experience. Watch the launch trailer here: Launch Trailer.

Office Fight will also be featured in the Future Games Show today at 4 PM EDT, as part of the Ones to Play montage. The game is now available for purchase on Steam. Visit the game’s Steam page here: Office Fight on Steam.

TWO WEEKS' NOTICE CAMPAIGN DETAILS:

  • The campaign is open to anyone laid off in 2024.

  • To participate, visit the landing page: Two Weeks' Notice Campaign.

  • Complete the form to receive a free copy of Office Fight. Game keys will be sent out after the campaign concludes on September 4, 2024.

"Layoffs are hard," added Pearce. "We hope Office Fight can bring a little joy and provide a much-needed escape."
