PORTLAND, DECEMBER 7, 2023 - Announced today at The Game Awards, House House (Untitled Goose Game, Push Me Pull You) and publisher Panic are excited to present their most ambitious title yet: Big Walk. Set on an island covered in Australian bushland, the cooperative online multiplayer game will set you and your friends free to explore and solve a variety of puzzles and challenges testing your ability to communicate as a group.
Big Walk will release in 2025 on Steam and Epic Games Store.
“Our favourite part of playing online coop games is when they give you enough direction for the group to keep up a good momentum, but it’s relaxed enough that you’re mostly just able to enjoy spending time with your friends. We hope Big Walk gives players that direction, and space, to focus on and enjoy those group dynamics, whether you’re playing with one friend or as a big group,” said Jake Strasser, developer at House House. “As part of this focus, we’ve developed a rich proximity voice chat system that really grounds players in the environment, and created this big island to get lost in. The island is inspired by the natural landscape of the southernmost point of mainland Australia, Wilsons Promontory National Park. It's a very special place and we hope we've captured some of its beauty in Big Walk.”
“After having such a nice time working together on Untitled Goose Game, we were really honored when House House approached us about working together again to publish Big Walk,” says Nick Suttner, Panic’s Head of Publishing. “We had no idea what kind of game they’d be showing us, but we knew it was something special from our first play session. Most of us aren’t really online multiplayer people, but Big Walk cut right through any fears or cynicism we had, and felt so refreshing, welcoming, and humane. We’re so excited to take a Big Walk with everyone.”

About Big Walk
Big Walk is a cooperative multiplayer adventure about teamwork and talking.
Set out with your friends through a wide-open world full of challenges, puzzles, and discoveries. You’ll need to work together to find your way around, stay in contact using an assortment of tools and toys, and figure out new ways to communicate when you suddenly find yourself speechless.
Adventuring aside, there’s plenty of time to just hang out. Sit and watch the sunset, or steal your friend’s binoculars and kick them into the ocean. Spending time with friends is the best part of a big walk.
