Full Steam Ahead: Railroad Corporation 2 on Track for Early Access on September 9th!

Developer Corbie Games and publisher Iceberg Interactive, is thrilled to announce that Railroad Corporation 2 will launch onto Steam’s Early Access program on September 9th, 2024. This eagerly awaited sequel, enhancing the gameplay of its predecessor with new features & deeper strategic elements, invites players to join the development journey and help shape the final stages of the game.

At Early Access launch, players will have the opportunity to build their corporations on four campaign missions, set in the era of railroad electrification. From there, players can research and deploy ten different locomotives and establish specialized departments like Geology, to discover new resources. Players will also get the chance to test their competitive skills against other aspiring entrepreneurs in online multiplayer mode. 

Developer Corbie Games, along with publisher Iceberg Interactive, have opted for an Early Access release to foster a closer collaboration with the community, where player feedback and input will be taken onboard, to focus on refining, enhancing, and expanding the game based on their involvement.
 

About Railroad Corporation 2:

Railroad Corporation 2 invites players to pioneer the electrification of the rail industry at the turn of the 20th century. Players will establish and manage their own railroad corporation, constructing extensive rail routes and upgrading networks with state-of-the-art locomotives to stay ahead in the competitive market.

Strategic economic processes are at the heart of your success, where decision-making and resource management are key. Each locomotive model is based on historical examples, offering different advantages, requiring players to make strategic choices to optimize their operations. Expand your corporation by cultivating cities, constructing industry facilities, and controlling production lines. The game also includes both competitive online multiplayer and cooperative gameplay modes.
