gamescom epix: The unique community adventure is back with lots of surprises

The interactive gamescom epix community adventure is entering its fourth round. Starting immediately, gamescom fans can win numerous prizes by solving over 100 different quests, both online and on-site at gamescom from August 21. For the first time, digital gamescom trading cards will be offered as a reward. 

This year’s story takes players on a journey with EPI, the adventurous firewall, through Pixopolis, the gaming capital of the gamescomVerse. The different areas of the city reflect the diverse interests within the gamescom community. 

Exclusive prizes await! 

By completing quests and leveling up, players can unlock a wealth of prizes, including exclusive discounts, complete games and add-ons, free tickets and merchandise – there’s something for everyone. Among the many partners participating in gamescom epix 2024 are Amazon Games, astragon, BAD SPIELE, Elgato, ESL, KONAMI, Kraken Wargames, Niantic, the city of Cologne, Ubisoft, the UN’s Playing for the Planet Alliance and many more. 

New: gamescom trading cards 

For the first time this year, the community will also receive digital gamescom trading cards as rewards. Players can discover around 40 cards from the categories of areas & shows, creators, gamescom epix and partners. The creators category includes well-known German talents such as DoktorFroid, Gnu, Juli Mi & Sola and Rocket Beans TV. The more cards players collect, the more prizes they unlock. They can view the trading cards in a digital album on their profile and trade duplicate cards with friends or other collectors. Collectors can also purchase a one-time collector booster containing additional cards featuring EPI in various alternate universes.
