SEATTLE, WA., May 31st, 2022 -- Rose Tinted Games, indie game developer, announces their upcoming MMORPG Genfanad has launched today on Kickstarter! The answer to a video games market saturated with MMORPGs from big-name studios, Genfanad lets players into a lighthearted world, laden with sartorial humor.
An homage to the classic MMORPGs of the early 2000’s, Genfanad is set in the world of Nublandia. Players start as peons recruited to go on adventures at the behest of ruling corporation Corporation for LICencing HEroes Inc (CLICHE Inc).
Inherent to the game design of Genfanad is flexibility. The game offers serious players dramatic and challenging adventures in far-off corners of Nublandia, while simultaneously giving casual players low-key activities such as item crafting and gathering materials.
Players can try-before-they-buy in an open alpha test that is running through the month of June that offers a limited but fully functional experience that players can play in their browser today. This alpha offers a subset of the final game skills, 5 completeable quests, a PvP area, and a dungeon and boss area for players to try to complete.
