GUANGZHOU, CHINA, May 21st, 2022 - NetEase Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released the latest trailer for Harry Potter: Magic Awakened on May 20, 2022, during the NetEase Connect 2022 event.
The live streamed event was hosted by IGN Japan’s Daniel Robson and Esra Crabbe and aired in Japanese and English on NetEase Games’ official Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube pages.
Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is a real-time role-playing card game that reanimates the wizarding world of Harry Potter. The game is set several years after the events in the novel. The main character is a new student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Like Harry, Ron, and Hermione, the player embarks on a journey to become a first-class wizard.
Multi-platform game with an immersive experience of the wizarding world
The game will be available across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, and PC, with cross-progression that allows you to move your in-game progress between different consoles.
Anyone can explore the wizarding world of Harry Potter. Through school life and adventures, they can enjoy a new storyline that was created with the help of J.K. Rowling. The game is designed for players to hone their skills as a wizard while engaging in real-time card battles.

Simultaneous release of the latest trailer for Harry Potter: Magic Awakened
On May 20, 2022, the simultaneous worldwide release of the latest trailer was announced. The trailer portrays the stories of various people embarking on a journey to the world of Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, including white-collared workers commuting by train, a lady searching for a book in the library, and a person playing baseball.

Global release in 2022 and possible collaboration with Fantastic Beasts
The game is scheduled for a closed beta test in 2022 and pre-registration is also set to begin. Plans for collaboration with Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (premiered on April 8, 2022) are underway, with cards of fantastic creatures showing up in the movie series for the first time set to appear in the game.
