GMX | LONDON, UK (November 2nd 2004) - GMX Media has today announced that the company will be staging an exclusive preview event for selected retailers and media at the Park Lane Hilton, London on November 11th 2004.
Showcasing at the event will be the first ever playable code of the voice controlled RTS title
"Will of Steel" to be published by GMX Media at the end of February 2005. Using a microphone and desktop PC, attendees will be given the first chance to experience a working demo of the game code.
"The Will of Steel demo has been created to showcase how the voice control mechanism has been integrated into the game," commented COO for GMX Media, Eugene Perry. "We are confident that one people get a chance to experience the technology in effect, they will realise that the voice control mechanic is not just a gimmick, but an astonishing new method of game control. It puts you right at the heart of the action and it really does work!"
In addition to Will of Steel, attendees will also get a first play of the adventure title - Legacy: Dark Shadows. A point & click adventure with a dark science-fiction storyline spanning a period of 200 years.
"The world of Legacy is a dark and cold one, and almost as frightening as the possibility that one day it might be our reality. It is a world where people are mere pawns in the never-ending chess-matches of the powerful few, a world where freedom and human rights are just words, relics from a time long gone." Zdravko Marijic Razbor.
