Gunzilla Games Announces Grammy Award Winner Lorne Balfe as Composer for the  Off The Grid soundtrack

Frankfurt, Germany, September 6th, 2024 - Gunzilla Games, the AAA game studio behind the highly anticipated cyberpunk-style battle royale Off The Grid, announces Grammy Award winner Lorne Balfe as Composer of the Off The Grid soundtrack. Lorne’s compositions set the foundation of Off The Grid’s rich audio score, including the game’s main theme “Welcome To The Island”. The original game soundtrack, Off The Grid, is now available to stream. Off The Grid will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S this year. The decorated musician has a celebrated track record in film and video game composition including winning a Grammy for his work on The Dark Knight in 2009. Lorne joins a highly experienced team of industry professionals working on Off The Grid which includes Gunzilla Games’ Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer, Oscar-nominated screenwriter, director and producer Neill Blomkamp.

As Gunzilla Games prepares for the launch of Off The Grid, the original game soundtrack Off the Grid is now available on all music and streaming platforms.

A highly acclaimed and experienced composer, Lorne has 172 composer credits across movies, TV and games including Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One, Black Widow and The LEGO Batman Movie. In the gaming sphere, Lorne has composed the soundtracks for titles including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed III, Assassin's Creed: Revelations and Beyond: Two Souls, all of which received nominations for Best Original Music from the BAFTA Games Awards.
