Halloween Picket Maze - Making Steam Next Fest a Bit Spookier

Helsinki, Finland - Oct. 2, 2024 | GameLoom Studio, a tiny independent game studio, has launched their new Halloween themed demo, Halloween Picket Maze, in time for Steam Next fest.

Halloween Picket Maze is an action puzzle game where you play a cat trying to find her way home. Featuring candies, costumes, pumpkins and ghosts - this is a purrfect game to get into the spooky mood.

Developer and self-publisher GameLoom Studio, a team of two, is especially excited over this game release.

"With this release we have done something that 75% of developers have not, survive long enough to create a second Steam game!" said Jens Åkerblom CEO & programmer of GameLoom Studio. "Not saying our previous games aren't great, but this is a huge milestone for us."

"We do enjoy making smaller games, so when we were discussing what game to make next, we felt our last year's Halloween prototype [Tiny Halloween Story] deserved a continuation. Halloween Picket Maze has grown quite far from the original prototype, both in scope, mood and polish."

Halloween Picket Maze demo is already available and is making an appearance on Steam Next Fest. The full game is launching later this month (October 2024). Wishlist on Steam to get notified when it's available for download.

Halloween Picket Maze is a level based action puzzle game. Key features include:
