Thursday 16th, Blackburn, United Kingdom.

Vagusnet.com is proud to announce its inaugural Halo 2 Xbox Live Tournament!

The Tournament is open to players of all abilities and levels and is open for entries now. You'll get the chance to fight it out over Xbox Live, with the excellent Halo 2 from Bungie, as we look to crown the first ever Vagusnet Champion!

With over £1000 worth of prizes, both the overall winner and runner-up taking home some sought after goodies, our first tournament looks set to lead where others follow. Best of all, it's completely free to enter!

With each round being played online from January and the final being screened live on Game Network, there's no better place to play than Xbox Live, with Vagusnet.com

"Gamers have been playing Halo 2 on Xbox Live since its release on November 11th, so we figured now is the time to find out just who is the best on-line player in the UK!" says Paul Sunter, Communications Manager for Vagusnet.com, "With some excellent prizes up for grabs, this is sure to be one hard-fought tournament!"

Phil Collins, the man behind the Tournament, can't wait to see it all get under way, "This is set to be a fantastic competition. Everyone at Vagusnet.com has worked really hard on getting everything together, and we're all really excited to be announcing this at last! Our aim was to create a Tournament where everybody could show off their skills and prove to the world that they are the best. Using Halo 2 over Xbox Live was an easy decision, as it provides the best online platform by far."

Applicants will be selected on a 'first come first served' basis. If you're interested and want to know more, simply go to www.vagusnet.com and follow the links, or e-mail [email protected].
