Hamsterball: Potato's Great Escape Rolls onto Steam 13 September!

An unstoppable wave of cuteness will wash over the unsuspecting Steam users on the 13th of September 2024 as Hamsterball: Potato's Great Escape is released that day. The backstory is both lovely and heartbreaking at the same time as this game was based on a real Hamster who was the pet of the 8 year old son of one of the developers. The Hamster, named Potato for his reminiscence of this root vegetable, sadly passed away at the tender age of 2 but it was the boy's wish to immortalize his beloved pet in a video game. So now you know the why, let's dive into the what.
 

Hamsterball: Potato's Great Escape puts you in the furry shoes of a hamster trapped in a ball (for his own protection) and your objective is to escape from a house while finding enough food along the way to keep your energy up (rolling around in a ball does that to you). Many dangers lie ahead and only the toughest hamster survives these challenges. It may not be the only hamsterball game on Steam but it certainly is the cutest one!
