Hiro Capital | LONDON, UK - February 10, 2023 | Hiro Capital, the leading London-based Games, Sports and Metaverse VC fund, is thrilled to announce that it is leading the seed round for Soccerverse, an innovative massively multiplayer online soccer management sim set in an evergreen game world.
The creative talents behind the Soccer Manager series are developing Soccerverse. This hugely talented team is crafting a community-driven game world that is built for fans, by fans.
Built on the blockchain, with the goal of being a fully self-sustaining management sim, Soccerverse is a decentralized and player-run system where the leagues will exist indefinitely on the chain. Soccerverse was founded in partnership with blockchain pioneers Dr. Daniel Kraft, one of Bitcoin Core’s developers, and Andrew Colosimo, creator of the world's first blockchain game Huntercoin in 2013, with the goal of creating a continuous autonomous world, which never has to fear being taken down by its developers.
Soccerverse offers players a fully customizable game world that is currently being shaped by the users participating in the current beta phase. The beta community has created and named its own clubs and players, crafted user-generated content packs, and much more. Soccerverse also prides itself on being an open-source, evergreen community-driven game that brings in truly unique features where users maintain and develop the game space as they see fit.
Andy Gore, CEO of Soccerverse said, “We are proud to be leading the way into a unique space within the soccer management genre with a completely player-owned and player-run experience found only in Soccerverse. We are confident in the wealth of experience we bring to the table. Our rare blend of vision and enterprise on behalf of the player community is second to none.”
“Hiro is delighted to have made our first blockchain game investment in Soccerverse. We’ve searched far and wide for great games that truly belong on the blockchain, and we couldn’t have found a better example. It’s no wonder when you look at the veteran leadership team building the game.” added Hiro partner Spike Laurie.
Whether a fan of soccer management-style games or an adherent of online gaming, players around the globe will find something to love in Soccerverse. Investors, fans, and players are invited to visit the Soccerverse official site to learn more about this upcoming genre-bending game.

Every club and every soccer player can be owned by Soccerverse users.
