FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Leicestershire, UK – September 22, 2024 – Iconiel LTD has announced the cancellation of its Kickstarter campaign to raise a modest £4,000 towards development of micro indie game, Codename: Zalidium. Due to lack of interest and insufficient promotion by the crowdfunding platform. However, in a unique twist, Iconiel is rewarding the dedicated backers who believed in the project from the start.
Nathan Osborn, solo developer and founder of Iconiel LTD, decided to cancel the campaign early to prevent further pledges. “I had five prototypes made out of my own pocket, and I have four copies to give away. These will be the only ones ever made, increasing their value for collectors once the game is released,” Nathan said in a message to the backers.
Nathan goes on to show gratitude despite the campaigns disappointing outcome, “Thank you for believing in the game. Despite financial challenges, I am committed to delivering a great game,” he said.
Codename: Zalidium is still set to be released on Steam in the future.
