Smash Hit TV Series Comes To Mobile Phones

December 8th. For the first time fans of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! can play a mobile game based around the show.
The game recreates the theme of the show's Bushtucker Trials, where the celebrities go through a series of challenges in order to win their food for the day. The mobile game makes players dash for star tokens while avoiding grubs, beetles and the other bugs, creepy crawlies and creatures that have made viewers squirm.
The game can be downloaded and played on most popular colour java-enabled phones and can be downloaded from from all major UK operators.
Katrina Moran, Executive Producer, Interactive at Granada, said,"We are constantly looking for new ways to involve viewers in our programmes and we're delighted to be able to offer I'm a Celebrity fans a new way to join in the fun via a mobile game based around the show's popular Trials."
Tony Pearce, the chief executive officer of Player X, said, "Everybody has a favourite moment from the past series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Whether it's the celeb's getting to know each other, or some of the more revolting challenges, it has created some of the most memorable TV scenes from the last few years. The mobile game is designed to appeal to every viewer and give them a chance to face the intimidating insects, without traveling halfway round the world, or trying to find a bucket of grubs.
