Joystick Junkies is supporting ELSPA's Media Meets Gaming Conference next Monday 22nd at London's Marquee Club with a full-blown Joystick Junkies after party, The Class of '84!
The daytime conference is examining how games can achieve more media coverage and advantages of the media and gaming industries working together.
Joystick Junkies is a big proponent of developing fashionable media friendly video game related products and events and so this was a perfect opportunity to support ELSPA's work.
Top names from both industries will be firing on all cylinders to deliver some great ideas during the day's conference including; Gerhard Florin, SVP and European MD at Electronic Arts, Ian Livingstone, Creative Director Eidos, Sean Dromgoole, CEO Some Research, and Mike Morris, Joint MD Channel Four. The panel will be chaired by Stuart Dinsey, MD Intent Media and will include representatives from Microsoft, BBC, Conde Nast and Naked Communications
The official after party will run from 7pm-1am in the 5th floor bar of The Marquee, Leicester Square on Monday 22nd November.
The night will feature guest DJ's playing a stylish mix from the last days of disco and 80's classics plus our compare Figs running the usual competitions, classic arcade games on free play, free food from Datascope, free Budweiser beer, our funky Polaroid fancy dress booth and of course all the regular Joystick Junkies!
